Full-Time and Per Diem Teacher Hiring Process:
 
 
1.     Apply on line at http://teacherjobs.rcsdk12.org

a.      Complete application

b.     Resume

c.      3 Letters of Recommendation (with email addresses)

d.     Transcripts

e.      Copy of Valid Teaching Certification document(s)

 

2.     Once you have completed your application, please contact The Office of Recruitment at (585)262-8127 so that your application may be forwarded to the Substitute Management Office for review.
 
3.    After your application has been forwarded to the Substitute Management Office you may verify the status of your application by calling (585) 262-8320.
 
  •      If a full-time vacancy becomes available you will be contacted via email by the Director of Recruitment.  
  •      If a per diem vacancy becomes available you will be invited to attend a Substitute Teacher orientation via email.
4. Candidate's name is forwarded to building principals.
 
5. Building Principals determine who they will call in for an interview.
 
6.     Principals submit recommendation to HCI Director, who then contacts the candidate for hire.
 

7.     Once the candidate is hired, he/she will be required to complete all necessary forms before employment occurs.
