Thank you for your interest in the Rochester City School District. The district is an equal opportunity employer. All applications are kept current for two years.
Applying for a position is a 2-step process:
1) Register to receive an Applicant ID Number by filling out an online application.
2) Enter your Applicant ID Number in the space provided in each position of interest.
Before applying for any positions, you must first obtain an Applicant ID Number. If you do not have one, please go to the Job Application page and click on "Register Now" to complete an application. You will then be assigned an Applicant ID Number which will enable you to apply for open positions.
In order to be considered for employment, your application packet must be complete. In addition to completing the online application, you must upload:
Ø A copy of your certification. A letter from your college verifying that all requirements have been completed will place your certification as pending. Copy of your certification is required for full time employment.
Ø A copy of any New York State Certified Teacher Exam results which you have received.
Ø Official college transcripts for completed degrees may be uploaded by the College or an official transcript may be submitted under seal by the college. Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.
Ø Three (3) current (within 3 years) letters of references including one from immediate supervisor.
For employment you will also need:
Ø A copy of your New York State Fingerprint Clearance for Employment form.
